Jack Hanley Gallery will open its new space at 395 Valencia Street in San Francisco with a show of photographic and film works by Bay Area artist Mary Jane Dean. Using early photographic and cinematic technologies, blurred and grainy, incapable of precision or detail, these pictures, all landscapes, grasp at the fractuality of our world.
